To start off we have the wonderful Crosby Candles which is run by one of my old school friends she is wonder woman she looks after two children whilst also running her fabulous business from home, all her products are natural soy wax handmade by Sarah. She has a list of some wonderful scents including favourites like Creed and Alien and my personal favourite fresh linen which smells divine! One of the first artists i have on my list is the wonderful mcoweyart who can be found on Instagram @mcoweyart, I’ve know Cowey for a long time and watched his art work progress into the amazing pieces he creates. He includes song lyrics within the image of musicians and famous quotes. His work is something different and unusual and i highly recommend. This wonderful lady Victoria is a bodyshop at home consultant now i know there not a small business but the love and time Victoria puts into all her customers orders i thought she deserved a mention, nothing is to much for her she will help you with a lovely and friendly manner, she can do gift sets up to a certain budget you have and will package your items in wonderful gift boxes etc. she can post all over the uk and she is worth a look. she can be found on Facebook at self care & skin care with victoria.
Keeley is a wonderful tattoo artist based in Old Swan in Liverpool but thanks to covid has to close her awesome studio till lock down part 2 is over. Fatfrog crafts can be found on Facebook, Julie hand makes all the jewellery that she sells and they are made using semi precious gemstone beads or sterling silver and Swarovski crystals or a combination of all three, Julie also makes commissioned and bespoke pieces and also a range of handmade cards which can all be personalised too.

Sunday Best By Lucy was started during the first Lockdown Lucy is a fashion designer and currently makes embroidered tie-dye products including sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts, face mask and more. She personalises every product she makes so it’s just how the customer wants it, down to the fabric used, the colour of the tie-dye to the embroidery pattern and colour. Emma is a beauty therapist and nail tech by trade but thanks to covid she had to find other ways to bring an income in, this is how Custom Tipz was born. Emma makes bespoke press on nails any length, shape and design. We have Kate Elizabeth Aesthetics who has 12 years experience, she offers botox, filler, lip filler and B12 injection and currently has gift vouchers available if you would like to gift a special someone a treatment for christmas. Sweet Pea And Little Wolf are a small independent business who sell a delicious range of bespoke herbal teas, healing crystals, handmade smudge sticks, apothecary, wedding favours, wanderlust themed apparel and so much more. Shellybongo Gifts is a gift and homeware store based in St.Helens, she ran a pet care business for over 10 years and was always fully booked but thanks to covid restrictions from March she had all pet care cancelled, so she set up Shellybongos Gifts in June and it’s really took off. The shop is made up of 25 independent businesses who all use the shop to showcase their products, they all pay a small fee each month and Boss Birds Parlour take no commission so they can receive all the money from any sales they make. They create homemade dessert macarons based on your childhood favourite flavours and in trend popular flavours right now for example lotus biscoff and black forest gateau. These guys are much more approachable fun and in trend creating everlasting flavoursome experiences like no other! Their menu changes seasonally and they currently offer boxes of 6,12,and 24 macarons. Fake Me Up Beauty is ran by the wonderful Laura who has been self employed for 4 years and been in her current salon for just over a year which obviously has been tough with everything going on in 2020 but she refuses to give up as she loves what she does, Laura wanted to do something fun but also still earn a wage whilst she’s unable to open her salon she makes handmade lipbalms and soaps and also doing make up hampers to suit any budget. Was started up as an idea for a friends daughter as she knew she loved Disney and with having extra time due to covid needed something to keep her focused, shes always loved drawing cartoons and whilst out shopping one day saw the letter and thought ‘I wonder if i could do something with this?’ she does it mainly for fun but loves the thought of the letter being personalised to suit whoever is buying them and that she was able to do that for them she also mentioned that doing this has been a huge help to stopping her mental health declining during lockdown. Rachel Baillie Art is another artist i choose to feature on the list, she is a mosaic artist based in Liverpool and can be found on Instagram @rachelbaillieart she has a background in graphic design and art direction, if a client has an idea in mind but isn’t 100% sure what they want Rachel will come up with some visual concepts and designs first before she turns it into a mosiac (pictures included show her process for a recent piece that she did) she really enjoys doing graphic art and typography the most and coming up with designs arond that, for all collabs, commissions and enquires please dm her and she will get back to you.
Marilynn Baby is the third artist i choose to include in my list, self described crossing artist from Liverpool is still in the early years of their art i complete addict of the human form like myself could sit and people watch as a full time job! All their work is made from eco materials from paper mache to low ordur or recycled paint. They set up their workshop by robbing wood and shelving out of skips but stuck with it as its a life dream to do, they recently hit the 200 sales mark over on their etsy shop and has also sold some items to channel 4 and one piece to HBO. Their art is full on NSFW pieces that will certainly catch peoples eye but we all love something cheeky and different don’t we! i suggest you go grab yourself a piece of Marilynn baby’s art as i can see great things coming their way.
